#14 - Deltarune Chapters 3 and 4 are Peak, General Life Stuff - 09/06/2025
Hi! Been a bit, hasnt it? To be honest, I didn't really forget about my blog here much, it's more that i've just been kind of busy. Busy for a few reasons, but the main being that on June 4th, I got to playing Deltarune Chapters 3 and 4 for the first time! My playthroughs of both are on my youtube channel so you can go watch them there if you're interested, but-
GOD. THEY WERE SO GOOD!!!!! I'm not going to spoil anything concerning the plot, but what I will say is that I am incredibly happy about how they both turned out. I genuinely had such a good time with it: I laughed, I nearly cried, I felt genuine terror, I felt so much with these chapters and I can't express how engaged I just felt with all of it. Even leading up to the release, Deltarune's chapter release had several servers I was in going absolutely nuts, because "gaster" was communicating via the undertale twitter and bluesky. Then, when the game came out on steam, it CRASHED things for people to the point where several people couldnt even buy the game lmao. But all in all, god, this whole release feels so special, and I feel like the game has matured alongside how me and the people who continue to follow it have matured. Again, I was 18 when this game came out, i'm 24 now, 25 in december. So much time has passed, but im so happy as a result. And judging by certain things, doesnt look like we'll be waiting all that long for the next one~ But chapters 6 and 7 remain quite the mystery.
I think once the dust settles, I'll give my indepth thoughts here about the game and the chapters.
For now though, one more thing: i've been...eh. I've been surviving. Aside from deltarune, and the crucial love of my loved ones plus friends, ive sort of been straggling atm. Maybe things will become less stressful soon.
