#57 - A Brief Summer Comic-Con 2026 Look Back, Project Progress - 31/07/2026

I am...wow, I'm tired. But not for bad reasons, actually. In the place of the tiredness i'd feel before April this year, there's a content tiredness I feel. A tiredness stemming from a long day, with humid weather, and working on projects until I felt my back feeling the ache of sitting in a Manchester Mala Food Court. I come to it sometimes to just kind of chill out, get some personal space. With my living circumstances, I really need a breather sometimes - theres only so much LOUDNESS and triggering topics that I can stomach until I need to actively burn calories and go out somewhere just to feel a little less like my head is being slapped in. But anyway, as it stands, I'm doing alright really - just tired. Recently has been fun! I've been doing a lot, but the main highlight for me was...

MCM Manchester Comic-Con 2026~!

God I had fun. I headed out on July 25th to the Bowlers Exhibition Centre to attend comic-con for the first time in over 7 years, and it was a damn great time~! I'm not gonna go into major details since, actually, im working on a new crt dreams video about it! Yeah, I loved my experience so much that i'm working on a video about my experience - and I find that lovely, yknow? This venue, the event, was genuinely so nice to go to and it felt nice to be alongside kindred spirits in that way, to just be around people who were just like me. I'd feel this way too even more with my partners with me in person, because I love them both, but as it stands I was there by myself at the venue and i legit just had a lovely time. Can't wait to show my experience to you all and the channel!

But my experience has left me itching for more, and to be honest, it's for many reasons: the main one being that it was such a positive, happy time. But overall reasons are a mix of just wanting to do more things and live, and also the desire to expand my presence into the convention circuit, if that makes sense. I've considered going to a few things, but, I really want to go to a furry convention next. I've mainly experienced the culture online, so, why not go offline, experience it there? I also, admittedly, and this is crass, want to visit the kind of dealers dens they'd have just to see how wild it gets, also to see if I can get some more cute charms. The desire to get more bracelets is very strong too. But I want to know what it feels like to just keep living, keep thriving, experiencing things. I'm not in a perfect position but i'm damn well still going strong and nothing is here to chain and strangle me anymore, I am literally going to live for myself and the things I love. I keep saying it, i'm no longer a tool for people to use and gain benefits from. And of course, people it applies to have taken plenty of issue with their "free atm" in their eyes rebelling against them. But it is what it is. Try me now, is what I say.

But yeah, I wanna do more things. Keep living for my own sake. Because it is satisfying and I enjoy it. And I deserve a life.

In terms of anything else going on with my life, multiple scripts for new crt dreams videos are in the works and I look forward to getting them in production! Comms are going well too, and, im cutting down on the next major album release so it will be out soon enough.

All in all, the future is looking bright. Just gotta keep going!
