Diesel Celene Mectemecia, D.C Mectemecia for short; 101 years old and the last of the "Ghost Machine" Series of War Robots designed by the Demorio Government during war in 1922. A Robot designed visually in the shape and visage of the extinct thylacine species, of which humanity drove to extinction upon the founding of Demorio, D.C Mectemecia was meant to be a soulless soldier for Demorio's control. However, during a routine operation, he gained sentience and consciousness...and a realisation of the horrors he had committed while under Demorio control. Wanting to atone for his crimes and wanting to end the war he had been contributing towards, he went off the grid, taking down figureheads in charge on both sides, ultimately contributing to the war's end, with urban legends arising about a fabled deserter of the Demorio army who singlehandedly helped the war come to an end. Gaining his own free will, he named himself Diesel Celene Mectemecia, and for the past 100 years has been hiding and surviving in the shadows, protecting the innocent.

Having survived long past his expected expiration date and for over a century, Diesel is wise and observant, patient yet effective and is not afraid to carefully follow his own objectives to an obsessively perfect degree. Operating as a perfect soldier, willing to stake out his enemies for hours, even days and months, before striking, he shares no allegiance to any party or persons and widely distrusts them all due to his century of experience; this also extends to his public presences, of which are none due to what he is and the induced panic it would bring for if anyone in the public saw him. An artificial life form, in contrast to his creation and design as a weapon of war and destruction, Mectemecia has a deep appreciation and respect for nature and life, fighting to maintain it's existence alongside eliminating those he sees as threats to the world and nature itself. A reclusive figure, he finds it hard to open up to others, the long-lasting guilt of the attrocities he's committed in the name of Demorio upon his birth lingering with him. To himself, he still considers himself a soulless monster, even despite being a conscious and feeling person and others pointing this out. He has very few friends (of which he's grateful), and finds it hard to make genuine connections with others, with the exception of some character such as Ronin Ampersandi. Unafraid to be bitter and brutally honest, he can be perceived as heartless, but underneath his exterior, he deeply cares for protecting what's right. Having lived for over 100 years, he deems his continued existence as a challenge, but finds beauty in the small things in life and continues to strive to make a difference by acting in the shadows. Across the century he has lived for, Diesel has grown from a weapon of war, to a silent nomad, repairing himself and growing as a person, hunting down threats in silence.
