Gambit Hygadeine; A 19 year old Rabbit who lives alongside the rest of the Philanthropy group in the Demorio Countryside. Quick on her feet, hyperactive and aggressive, Gambit prides herself on her intelligence and capabilites, something which masks how she feels truly underneath: disconcerted and uneasy, questioning. Having been found alongside her sibling Alkahest by Patchblob and Tesseline, the two rabbits have no recollection of their lives before being found, a fact that haunts them both. As such, while Alkahest grapples with their multiple personalities which pilot the latter's body, Gambit muses in silence and contemplation on her lack-of past, trying to make sense of it. Unafraid of confrontation and with little hesitation when provoked or attacked first, Gambit is a violent fighter and at her angriest, has no hesitation for taking life if she's threatened first, leaving her at odds with the rest of Philanthropy. Through her drive, Metastasis, she can convert broken objects into usable weapons which temporarily last, albeit with some caveats, giving her the ability to fight or kill at a mere moment's contact. While her aggression is her most prominent trait, underneath her prickly and snappy exterior lies a good heart that cares for others and feels the weight of her emotions. An example of this lies within the prosthetic legs she crafted for Utokanie, also highlighting her surprising technical prowess and skills in handling technology and repair-work.
While being soft and fluffy on the surface, her tendencies to become smug and egotistical based off of her skills with technology, her intelligence, and her Drive often get her into trouble. Despite this, she can back up her ego with an overwhelming dark determination to see to business being done, determined to protect what she loves and determined to prove herself as superior to her opponents, even if it leaves her damaged and near death in the process.
Despite her ego and her persistent nature powered by her sense of pride, Gambit cares about her family and her worth, afraid to feel useless and feel like she cannot provide. Her ego is her greatest weakness, as it often prevents her from logically thinking during tense situations, leading to instances where she barely avoids death, getting damaged in the process.
